High School Field 1 Lighting – Bid Advertisement

The Town of Weston invites bids for the renovations to Field #1 located at Weston High School, 444 Wellesley Street, Weston, MA 02493. The work includes installation of sports lighting and electrical improvements as indicated in the Drawings and Specifications. Bid documents will be available July 22, 2026. Electronic copies of the bid drawings and specifications will be available upon request. No plan deposit is required. Please contact Jonathan Charwick of Activitas, Inc. email: [email protected]; Sealed bids should be dropped off at or before 1:00 p.m. August 5, 2026 into the FACILITIES MAILBOX in the Case House, 89 Wellesley St, Weston, MA 02493. A non-mandatory pre-bid site walk will be held on July 28, 2026 at 10 a.m. at Field #1.

Weston Conservation Commission

Notice of Public Meeting

Pursuant to Mass General Laws, Chapter 131, Section 40, Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act and Article XVI of the Town of Weston General Bylaws, Wetlands Protection Bylaw, the Weston Conservation Commission will hold a Public Hearing on August 4th, 2026 at 7:30 p.m. on a Notice of Intent at 38 Chestnut St filed by Rami Assaad for the construction of a first-floor addition, garage, septic system, driveway modification and stormwater improvements. A portion of the proposed work will occur within the 100-foot Buffer Zone to Bordering Vegetated Wetland and the 25-foot No Disturb Zone. Information on how to attend this virtual Public Hearing will be provided on the Conservation Commission’s Agenda posted on the Town’s website (www.weston.org) at least 48 hours prior to the meeting or you may email [email protected] for the agenda to be emailed to you.
