Smooth-skilled Rogaris skates by program point record

Christos Rogaris, took another leap forward this year, becoming the first player in program history to score his 100th career point.

During his sophomore year at Weston High School, Christos Rogaris was named captain of the Dover-Sherborn-Weston co-operative boys hockey team – a rare feat at that age. At the end of that season, Rogaris and his teammates were crowned as state champions.

In the 2025-2026 school year, Rogaris, as a junior, took another leap forward, becoming the first player in program history to score his 100th career point.

Rogaris’ season was one for the ages – He totalled 56 total points (33 goals and 23 assists) this season alone, leading the team to wins in its first three MIAA Div. 4 playoff games before losing to eventual state champion Littleton High School.

The exciting part for Dover Sherborn-Weston Head Coach Alex Marlow, and the scary part for the team’s opponents is that Rogaris still has another offseason to improve, despite already being the most prolific player in school history.

“Every year he’s come back, taken feedback from us and improved,” said Marlow. “He’s always been a skilled, smooth skater. This year, he was also a finisher.”

That newfound finishing prowess helped Rogaris light up the scoreboard all winter long. At one point in the season, the junior recorded a whopping five consecutive games with a hat trick.

“It was incredible stuff to watch,” said Marlow. “To do it as a junior is even crazier.”

Apart from being a dynamic offensive weapon, Marlow said Rogaris is a leader in the locker room and on the ice. Teammates watch what he does, and listen to what he says.

“He’s an incredible person,” said Marlow. It’s been nothing but a pleasure to watch him on this journey and I’m incredibly proud of him.”

Rogaris kicked off his high school career with nine goals and 16 points as a freshman in 2023-2034. His points elevated to 37 in his sophomore year before his massive 56 point output this past season.

“The sky is the limit for him,” said Marlow. “He’s not going to surprise people anymore.”
