Panera headquarters moving to Weston

The fast-casual restaurant brand Panera Bread is moving its corporate headquarters to Weston from St. Louis, Missouri next year, according to CEO Paul Carbone.

In an internal memo sent to employees this week, Carbone said the move is part of Panera RISE, the brand’s transformation strategy, to “drive our next chapter of growth and reclaim our leadership in the fast casual industry.”

According to a press release from November 2025, the Panera RISE strategy is focused on long-term growth through refreshing the restaurant menu, igniting value, serving guests with excellence and expanding the company’s network.

“It is critical that we have an environment to enable even deeper collaboration, faster decision-making and a more unified culture,” the memo stated.

The new workspace will fully align the company teams, “operating as one connected team as we continue our transformation,” Carbone said.

While the company will retain a St. Louis support center, an unknown number of employees will be relocated to the new headquarters, the location of which has not yet been announced.

The first Panera Bread bakery-café opened in 1987, and as of October 2025, there were 2,239 restaurants in 48 states, Washington, D.C. and in Ontario, Canada.
