Letter: Dietz will make balanced decisions

I’m proud to support Steve Dietz to serve on our School Committee, and he has my vote for three simple reasons.

First, I believe Steve will make thoughtful, balanced decisions that benefit students, teachers and families. Our schools work best when leadership considers the needs of everyone involved, and Steve has the judgment and perspective to do exactly that.

Second, I know Steve personally, and I’ve seen the kind of person he is. He is honest, respectful, and committed to doing what’s right. Character matters in leadership, and Steve consistently demonstrates integrity and care in everything he does.

Third, Steve is deeply connected to our public schools as a parent. With children in the high school, middle school, and elementary levels, he has a unique, firsthand understanding of the entire system. That perspective gives him insight into the real challenges and opportunities our schools face every day.

Steve cares about our community, our schools, and our future. I’m confident he will be a strong voice for students, teachers, and families alike.
