Charges sought after golfer struck by pellet at Weston golf course
Police are investing an incident in which a 77-year-old man was struck with a pellet at the Leo J. Martin Golf Course on Nov. 20.

Police are seeking charges against a Waltham man for firing a BB-type pellet at a golfer at the Leo J. Martin Memorial Golf Course on Nov. 20.
The Weston Police Department announced Tuesday that it filed an application for criminal complaint in Waltham District Court against Kenneth Bergin, 46, after investigating a report that a 77-year-old golfer had been struck by a BB at 10:45 a.m. at the course. The pellet did not penetrate the golfer’s jacket and he was uninjured.
The charges being sought are: disorderly conduct, discharging a BB gun across a public way and property damage. The incident remains under investigation, according to the Police Department.
Police say the incident is still under investigation.
