Weston Road closure through Oct. 2
Beginning this weekend, Weston Road in Wellesley will be closed through Oct. 2.

Milling and paving work on Weston Road in Wellesley will take place from Sunday, Sept. 28 through Thursday, Oct. 2.
The roadway will be completely closed day and night, from Route 9 north to the Weston town line during the entire week, except for local traffic and school buses.
Detours will be in place during this work. Drivers who use Weston Road to access Route 9 or Wellesley Square must use alternate routes.
On Sunday, Sept. 28, Monday, Sept. 29, Tuesday, Sept. 30, and Wednesday, Oct. 1, from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Crews will remove three to six inches of pavement from the existing roadway, beginning at Route 9 in Wellesley and going north to the Weston town line.
On Tuesday, Sept. 30, Wednesday, Oct. 1, and Thursday, Oct. 2 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. crews will be paving the milled areas beginning at Route 9 in Wellesley and going north to the Weston town line.
If needed, overnight milling work will continue Thursday, Oct. 2 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
