INVITATION FOR BIDS
The Town of Weston, MA, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids for the Memorial Pool Pump Replacement Project. Bids will be received until 1:00 PM on 03/18/26 at the Office of the Town Manager, 11 Town House Road Weston, MA 02493. The work is estimated to cost $130,000. Bidders may obtain documents online at www.weston.org/bids on 03/04/26. A site visit will be held on 03/11/26 at 10:00 AM at Memorial Pool, 6 Alphabet Lane, Weston, MA. This bid process and the contract award conform with M.G.L. c. 149 and M.G.L. c. 30B. Prevailing wage is required. The Town of Weston reserves the right to reject any or all bids, wholly or in part in accordance with M.G.L. Ch149.

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Appeals of the Town of Weston will hold a public hearing on March 24, 2026 at 6 pm on a request by BUWest LLC regarding 358 Boston Post Road (Map 27, Parcel 23) requesting a special permit for the proposed use and a variance for a sign; and on a request by Rafael Pieretti regarding 41 Summer Street (Map 29, Parcel 37) requesting a special permit for a garage addition. A portion of the proposed work will occur with the 100-foot Buffer Zone to Bordering Vegetated Wetland. THE COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS MASSACHUSETTS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION – HIGHWAY DIVISION NOTICE OF A VIRTUAL DESIGN PUBLIC HEARING Project Description: WESTON- BRIDGE REPLACEMENT, W-29-001, MERRIAM STREET OVER B&M RAILROAD & MBTA Project File Number: 601628 A Virtual Design Public Hearing will be hosted on the MassDOT website below to present the design for the proposed project in Weston, MA. WHEN: 7:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 18th, 2026 PURPOSE: The purpose of this hearing is to provide the public with the opportunity to become fully acquainted with the proposed project. All views and comments submitted in response to the hearing will be reviewed and considered to the maximum extent possible. PROPOSAL: The proposed project consists of the replacement of MassDOT bridge # W-29-001 carrying Merriam Street over the B&M and MBTA railroad in Weston, MA. The project also includes roadway approach reconstruction, safety improvements, guardrail replacement, required utility relocations, and related work. A secure right-of-way is necessary for this project. Acquisitions in fee and permanent or temporary easements may be required. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts is responsible for acquiring all needed rights in private or public lands. MassDOT’s policy concerning land acquisitions will be presented in the hearing.
