Weston certainly knows how to celebrate the festive season! From period concerts to historic tavern decorating, from trimming the tree to trimming the town center, the holidays provide an opportunity for residents to demonstrate true community spirit. We share with you some photos of local celebrations, and we wish you and yours very happy holidays and a happy and healthy New Year.

The Friends of the Josiah Smith Tavern hosted a concert by the Musicians of the Old Post Road, a chamber ensemble that performs period music from the Baroque to early Romantic eras.

This year’s Trimming the Tavern event at the Golden Ball Tavern was themed “Here’s to the Red, White and Blue!” with rooms decorated by many community nonprofit organizations. This is the Golden Ball Tavern entryway, decorated by the Country Garden Club of Weston.
