My vision for Weston

To maintain our unique rural character and protect our open space, we have a need for senior and
affordable multifamily housing. We must protect our existing density by providing multifamily
units that are in scale and in context with our existing fabric. Weston is primarily a single-family-zoned
town, and this must be protected from future state-mandated agendas. It would be helpful to hire an
Independent Demographics Consultant to discover existing age and income data that is needed to reveal
what the market absorption rate might be of all the units in the pipeline now. Do we have what we
need now? What is the actual number that is right for Weston? I want to keep Weston’s density
outcome in the hands of Weston residents. Keep Weston the Weston that we moved here for!
