Meet the Staff

Melissa Russell, Founding/Managing Editor

Melissa Russell has been a journalist for more than 20 years, serving as editor for several community news publications including the Winchester Star, the Reading Advocate, the Burlington Union, and the Waltham News-Tribune. She is the winner of multiple New England Press Association Awards. 

After leaving Gannett New England in 2022, where she led teams of journalists producing content for Wicked Local newspapers and websites, she was a freelance editor and writer, contributing to local newspapers and magazines.

Chris Larabee, Assistant Editor

Prior to joining the Weston Observer, Chris Larabee was a reporter for the Greenfield Recorder, with his work featured in The Recorder, the Daily Hampshire Gazette and Athol Daily News. He won a New England Newspaper & Press Association award for investigative reporting.

Stephanie Goldstein, Advertising Sales Representative

Stephanie Solakian Goldstein spent the majority of her career leading marketing and communications teams in legal and financial services firms. She is a long-time Weston resident who has been an active community volunteer. Stephanie has held a variety of roles on the Weston Parent Teacher Organization Board, most recently as president. She and her husband have two sons.

Addison Antonoff, Reporter

Addison Antonoff came to the Weston Observer from the Vineyard Gazette, a weekly newspaper covering Martha’s Vineyard, where they worked as a general assignment reporter. Antonoff’s work has also appeared in the Jewish Journal and Houston Public Media, the NPR-affiliate of their hometown Houston, Texas. They graduated from Brandeis University, where they studied journalism, history and Russian studies.
